In the garage cleaning up after some weekend projects...
Here's a picture of the boards I snagged yesterday. They need some work, but for $10 bucks and every thing is there/here. Oh Yeah!
I have some scratch's and one crack in the fiberglass to polish. But not ANYTHING compaired to the hood that Tim brought home this last summer for dat Chebby.
Good afternoon all. Just now got a chance to post on here. Sentra went home, the owner's tickled. He wants me to repaint his motor home/race hauler this spring at some point.
Wow Chip! That'll be a lot of paint. Last thing I painted like that was a couple trucks for a Mayflower moving and storage agent. ....it kinda sucked.
I rolled that '96 Chevy pick up in at 1000 this morning to do that engine swap. I fired it up and backed it out at 1700. I just have to top off the coolant and change the oil and filter tomorrow morning and I can give it back. (junk yard oil and filter on the engine)
I feel like I got rode hard and put up wet. ....I'm beat. Gonna go get engine job number two tomorrow. A '91 Olds Bravada. I can hardly wait.
Those running boards look pretty snazzy there, Bob. Should look pretty good on the truck.
Looked at a 91 Chevy tonight, but could not come to a price we both liked? I need to get inventory before taxes start coming in! Its proven people buy and pay more when the have there tax money in hand!
rat77, RC and Alan and anyone else with a military background, do you guys know about this?

in social security monthly payments upon your retirement. You must bring
your DD-214 to the Social Security Office and you must ask for this benefit
to receive it!
It appears our government is finally distributing some of our taxes to the most deserving group who are legitimately entitled to whatever they get...our military and its retirees. I think we need to cut down the welfare and give that to all military personnel active or retired.
We're in the stretch on the Mustang, the quarters are both welded on and look good. Now is the alignment of panels and removing the rust from the roof. Woot. I also started the Buick last night, I had a junk pair of battery cables on it, maybe I can get full power to the top pump and install the new convertible top on it so I can drive it this year. Ms Dent will take the Buick's spot in the shop soon as the Buick is on the road again.
Coffee is done and about gone here. Alan.... You sure about that sun coming up? It is lighter than it was when I went to bed at 2am but that is it.
I'm gonna get in the garage shortly and start on those boards for the 01. Needs some scuffed marks fixed, have to dig out the filler and polish one spot. Would like to see them on the truck shortly. That's about all here.
Unk Bob, we need you to post a tech article on the installation of them. If you need any paint, let me know the year and paint code, I might have some I can send you and then you're just out reducer and activator.
