Yesterday was my lucky day. I went to the local Winco supermarket to get some groceries, and as I pulled up I spotted this.
and then as I was leaving, I spotted this one.
After entering the store I found two of the firemen standing near the exit, so I asked one of them about the white fire truck since all the other Fresno County trucks I have seen are red. He told me that the red trucks are south Fresno County trucks, and the white ones are north Fresno County trucks. I had seen the white one a couple of times before, but did not read the "fine print" on the truck which states "North Central" Learn something new everyday.
Oh yeah, Fresno is a major metropolis of 1 million people. We even have our own water park now. I have never heard of a county having two different color fire trucks until now. I know cities have their own paint schemes and colors, but this is the first time seeing two colors for the same county.
