I see dice on the side, but really ought to have some hanging fuzzy dice on the rearview.

If they'd let me I'd cover the truck in LEDs, lasers, smoke machines, and a huge sound system. They said its not in the budget.

I'm not a fan of Spartan engines. But still a great looking station.

Yesterday was my lucky day. I went to the local Winco supermarket to get some groceries, and as I pulled up I spotted this.

and then as I was leaving, I spotted this one.

After entering the store I found two of the firemen standing near the exit, so I asked one of them about the white fire truck since all the other Fresno County trucks I have seen are red. He told me that the red trucks are south Fresno County trucks, and the white ones are north Fresno County trucks. I had seen the white one a couple of times before, but did not read the "fine print" on the truck which states "North Central" Learn something new everyday.

Cool, so they do exist! That Fresno must be a metropolis if they need different colors to keep track of who goes where.

Oh yeah, Fresno is a major metropolis of 1 million people. We even have our own water park now. I have never heard of a county having two different color fire trucks until now. I know cities have their own paint schemes and colors, but this is the first time seeing two colors for the same county.

Some fun pics

The first is a fire along the 101 at the 101/33 interchange.

The second is an accident on the 126.
