BUT, fire trucks, the piece of machinery are freakin cool.

Yeah I know it's a hot button issue and I have no problem with the guys in the trenches at all.
Just saying there are issues with the locals and I don't want to get into that at all.
I just want to concentrate on the trucks.

Youve got a message

For the benefit of everyone else, each county is different. Cal Fire may be the residing dept, but they are contracted by the county so each one is different. Sorry you happen to be in an area that gets some suckage. They arent all bad I promise

Just about to read your message.
But before I do, let me just say I understand.
There are decisions made and conditions that change I know.
Not trying to say anyone is bad.
I was actually trying to diffuse the taxpayer issue.
Guess that didn't work.
But trust me I get it.

I think we are arguing the same point.

The blame lies with the people at the desks. The guys on the engines just do what they're told.

I wish they would make a good US style engine model. Most of them are euro style. I tried designing one in the Lego Digital Designer, but it ended up being about $75 before I got any detail into it.

The one I posted it an Oshkosh P-19, 1000 gallons plus 130 gallons of foam chemical.

EDIT: I had posted 500 Gallons, that was instinctive. Most Type II engines (City fire engines) have a 500 gallon tank.
