Ok
Obviously we pretty much all like fire trucks.
So lets see 'em.
Doesn't have to be a Ford (but it's preferable).
They're just cool.
Old is good.
If you have a story it's even better.
I'll start
I bought mine back in Ohio. I was crammed into a van with a bunch of guys and my wife (she's lucky) heading to work. We were shooting a concert in a field (huge) kind of a country Woodstock. The fires in Northern California were raging. We were getting phone calls from my brother hourly as our place was in the fires path. As we rounded a corner there sat this beautiful fire truck FOR SALE.
Wifey and I looked at each other and we knew we had to own it.
Called the number and got the local fire chief and made a deal. A few weeks later my brother and I flew to Ohio and drove it home (slowly). Before we left, the whole fire department came out and trained us in the trucks use and to say goodbye to their trusty truck.
It's in perfect shape except for a little rust here and there.
Here's a few pix.
The two guys are the fire chief and his brother also a fireman.
Hows this for ya? Makes me almost want to be a district chief.
Is that District chief of the Keystone fire department.. All you need is Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin, or better yet Buster Keaton! AHH I Love that car! tooo cooool!
