I'm kinda partial to fire trucks.
Have one on station at my joint in NorCal.
Just a big kid playin' with trucks.
Marc I used to have a 1952 Dodge power wagon Fire truck.. It was used in many old movies before I bought it! It was the very best way to get around in the snow, when I lived in Nor Cal.

Very cool.
I'm of the mind if you have any property in NorCal you need one. They are pretty cheap and the kids love 'em.
Here's mine on our trip back from where I bought it.

Mine was from Wonder Valley Fire Department, I'll have to hunt down an old Photo or two for you! It was lifted and 4X4 with military stagger block tires... Horrible to drive on ice, but would get through snow 5 feet deep no problem. I ws hit by a Range Rover one day, it did no damage to my truck other then a small paint chip, on the front fender, but the Range Rover was a total loss. I couldn't believe it. the fenders were 1/8" steel It had a dent in one fender about the size of a quarter, and it took a torch and a sledge hammer to dolly it out, and even then I couldn't get it all the way out! But it was a Military spec truck!
LOL
The reason I wanted that picture is because it was without a doubt the slowest vehicle there as we happened by during speed week.
We drove it cross country at 52-53 mph.
Top speed is maybe 56.
It just struck me that it was the slowest vehicle at the fastest place on earth.
I dig fire trucks too - here's mine. Itching for the day when I can start the real build on it. It takes up much less room and stores too easy as "parts" now so I'm not gonna mess with it until some other stuff is done.
In case you ever get interested I have a friend that has one similar to yours.
It's in pretty good shape.
He intimated to me that it could be bought.
I guess this would still be an old pic of SoCal ish?
