Nice tour! I was on SAR briefly. That is the medical team, I was on team 1, in Fillmore.

Didn't take pics, but I saw the smoke at 8:30am yesterday.

InciWeb the Incident Information System: Pine Fire

Was hiking from Reyes Peak to Haddock peak. Within 100 yds of Haddock, I notice the white smoke billowing. Plenty of aircraft overhead. Quickly hoofed it back to the Trailhead where the Sheriff and NFS truck were coordinating. I rolled up the week-long campsite and headed home.

I was going to head up the Erskine fire today and replace several tattered american flags with new ones, but I wont have time. Perhaps next week. I was hoping to do it before the 4th.

Looks like you had a great time at Coppers and Choppers. I wanted to go. One of the VCFD helicopters was grounded while on a fire, and had to be towed back to its hanger.

1. Bakersfield Fire Department on scene of a structure fire
2. Yosemite Fire returning to station
3. Los Angeles Fire Department on scene of a 5 alarm structure fire
5. Bakersfield Fire Department on scene of a pallet fire.

Ojai Post Office Fire a few years back.











Small brush fire near Camarillo Springs. New jet fuel tender much nicer than the old one in these pics. Will try to find a photo.
