Several agencies responded to a vessel leaking fuel into the water in the harbor today. Around 500 gallons reportedly leaked. (@$4/gal... OUCH!)
Agencies O/S included VCFD, VFD, Ventura County Environmental Health, OES, USCG, and a few others that are slipping my mind.
The yellow truck is VCFD Hazmat 50, stationed at station 50 near the Camarillo airport.
The red truck is VFD Medic Truck 5, responding to an unrelated incident. It is a brand new aerial ladder truck station stationed at station 5 on Main St. They have another aerial there. I am not sure if that older truck is going out of service or not. For now it remains at Station 5.
