Lovely pics... I would love to have that engine, sweet pics btw (even though your pulse is a little on the shaky side, steady up soldier!). I'm happy to see that Bronco working, see why you can't get rid of it... EVER? (yeah, you could have a pickup, but those don't protect the cargo if it rains).
I do plan to put this in my 68 Mustang. I'm in the process of carefully stripping/labeling the EFI and wiring. Its amazing how much room the intake and coil set-up takes.
I didn't wanna hot-wire the forklift because its not techinically the Army's, that and if I did I wouldn't have found out how awesome the Bronco is as a engine tear-down vehicle!
Here's the motor without all the excess pieces not needed on the Mustang. The entire front is all aluminum so I have some cleaning and sanding to do before it gets installed. It'll look nice with a brushed Aluminum look to the whole front.

Plus I scored a ton of extra parts I can sell to get back some of my money spent. This motor had an AC/Smog delete pulley on it, the full wiring harness, full GT40 EFI intake, GT40P manifolds....all in great shape.
I am going to convert the engine to carb. I woiuld love to put EFI in the car but to do it right requires some pricey parts. So until I can gather all those parts I'm sticking with the carb.
Same motor thats in my 1996 Exp, thats a great 302 , I love the power it makes, those cast iron exhaust manifolds are like little headers, good plan Brett
Not much new on the Zebra side of things. I have an odd rattling noise and can't quite pinpoint where its coming from. I also need to check my brake booster valve to see if its bad or it may be the booster. Once I turn the truck off you can hear it whine and hiss.
Anyway i did do alot of work this weekend on my other heap of Ford, I know how much you guys enjoy pics so here are a few till I get around to working on the Zebra!
Just installed the new Performer 289 Intake manifold: (with help)

Here is my shiny new carb. The car starts like a dream now almost like EFI, no more cranking and pumping the gas.
