I just don't like the way those look. Also there is no way that will fit a normal 6' person comfortably. And they don't look to be very high quality.

i took my chrome trim off too, definitely prefer the look.. plus it got to the point that on one side of my rear wheel well the trim was basically floating as there wasn't any fender left to trim.

You thought about going fiberglass? I've been seriously considering it for my bed sides and hood.. if it started rusting in your rear quarters, then forget about stopping it. I did everything and realized the issue is that mud gets behind the fender, inside the bed and it's impossible to reach until it rusts out.. now people are trying to charge me $200 to just weld in the patch panel I have, without paint or blending! for that price might as well drop 600 on some fiberglass and rivet them in myself!

I have def considered the Fiberglass parts. I love the look of the AutoFab ones. I just don't know how they'd hold up in the weather and cold.

You do realize, that by simply removing the taillights, you can spray water directly on top of the fenderwells, and remove all that crap, right?

Corvettes seem to hold up well in the cold, so I would assume the fiberglass fenders would also.

It's a open area in there then, that you can spray off the inner fenders, and remove the dirt, etc that causes the rust in the first place....
