Aw man you guys are lucky my side windows don't seal and there is a bunch of open spots where cold air gets in AND my heater doesn't blow as hot as it should.... Not unless it is already it out anyway so i can get warmed up enough to keep the glass unfogged and to keep me from shivering...

I noticed on the Pismo trip that even with my windows up, there was a lot of wind noise coming from somewhere. maybe the holes between the windshield and drip rail? Not sure, but even with that, the heater could still keep me warm.

Well then you have nothing to lose by making a rag top, Gruesome!

I plan to give the truck a good wash today if time permits.

Well I cleaned up a few things today. I decided to take off those Chrome trim pieces on the wheel wells. Also I went and grabbed some Mother's wheel polish to see how it'd do. I think it turned out pretty nice. This stuff doesn't really clean or remove anything but it shines up real well.

Its all original. There is some cancer tho. I plan to go over everything here soon. Need ti smooth some things down. The stripes really hide the bondo spots on the rear quarters.

It looks great cleaned up. I wish i could make my rims nice but being polished aluminum i can't do much. Maybe someday i will paint them black. I always wanted black rims but if i do it, i think i will do it myself or have my co worker powder coat them. He has the gun, the powder, and a home made oven to cook the powder.

Also i would make it a ragtop but the risk of screwing up is too much. Besides it rains so much here, if i didn't Saran wrap the dang thing it would leak like a sonovagun

Ya but i would end up cutting too much or not in straight likes or something... I don't have much confidence in cutting stuff, especially since i would be outside doing this and don't have another top readily available for replacement haha. Over here in Washington it rains like 90% of the year so just taking the top off period is risky and you need to carry a tarp around... I can't wait to do that though i am dieing to see what she looks like topless

Hahah you know i lived in SAC for a while when i was young then my dad moved there a while back and i visited him during summer... Its to hot haha i am used to 60-80 summer not 105-115. Besides this summer is supposed to be pretty nice. Maybe just maybe after i see how it is topless i might think about doing a bikini, maybe i can find another doner top from the local JY and hack into it wither for practice or as the bikini then have my regular one for winter or something.

Im debating a ragtop install now i put a 40x38 manual slide in my 2000 s-10 ext cab easy install never leaked. The fiections were very easy to follow problem is cost 500+ hard to justify when i also think about tge slant back snap cover for just over 500
