Operation: Zebra build
Smog pump is brand new, I could probably get a few bucks used for it
Thanks for the replies guys! The title should be in the mail here in a day or two. I can't wait! I also ordered a vintage 1968 plate because we can run that here in WV and they will register it.

I decided toe clean up the rear end a bit, so I pulled the rear bumper so I could get to the mounts and frame area.

Here you can see I pulled the wires down. That crossmember is rough.

I sanded down the bumper mounts and the crossmember as best as I could, then I coated it in my Black CARC. I think it turned out pretty decent.

Figured I would clean up this trailer connector while I was at it.

I cleaned it up and hit it with some aluminum colored paint I had:

I think it came out real well. Before it was all gunked up.

Here's a shot with the bumper back on. I know you can't see the mounts and crossmember, but that was part of my goal.

I think someone also put a cheap undercoating on unless it is a ton of oily buildup.... One of these days i will get to that area but for now, my lovely rust will have to wait. As for the cans, i have all but the 3M remover. For that i like to either use solvent from my work or whatever is on my stepdads work bench. That can range from pain strippers to engine enamel to whatever else you can think of.
