little newer guys, ford # is a f6uz10346varm1 it is for a 7.3 di turbo, so 95-97 and the e vans

i should mention this is a direct for a 94+ otherwise the alternator mounts are different

you guys have no clue as to whether it has that slightly different case than the car 130a 3G, do you? I swear someone once told me the truck 3G's case covered the front bearing better.

(edit: if any of you pick one up, please take pictures.. )

I did get some goodies for the Zebra today! I grabbed one of the IDI/Van Alternators 130 AMP, a new serp belt, and new brake shoes and hardware for the rear. I also got a Rancho dual steering stab kit on order.

If You guys want any specific pics of the Alt let me know.

the shoe hardware kit is some of the best money you can spend on brakes, seriously, and I've done everything, F350 booster, metal calipers, , pads, rotors, shoes, new fluid, etc.

okay, your case is the sideways newer style, wouldn't even fit my Bronco, but if you can get a picture of the case and bearing that's behind the pulley?

I haven't looked into the F350 booster much, what does that do? Is it a straight swap?

for the one to fit yours, it needs to be a taurus one . i dont remeber which one. i think the 3.8 cars.

also heres a picture of mine on my engine

Those be some nice parts there Brett. You should do my brakes for me I found out while driving my mom and sister to the store while the roads were icey that my bake brakes don't work too well... I was in traffic and while holding the brake (not too hard but enough to keep me in one spot) and my back wheels started spinning. I wasn't pushing the gas or anything they just spun till i pushed the brakes harder. My mom was all worried but i just said my motor had sooooo much power that my back tires can't be tamed .

Just gives you more torque to your MC. You can feel it in your pedal, your brakes engage a bit more quickly, it requires less travel in the pedal to stop the truck, a lot less travel to lock the brakes, etc.

Straight swap, it's more long than our stock booster but not as wide, it actually feels like it opens up a bit more room in your engine compartment and it looks better.

Still, unless you have money to blow, I'd say wait until you think your booster is on its way out before you buy one, there is a difference but not a huge one.
or consider hydro-boost which would only be about $75 more and is much cooler to show off, but I didn't think it suited an offroad vehicle very well because of the complexity.

and JK, I have a Taurus 3G already, just seems like I have the thing apart every few weeks for one reason or another.
and your engine looks outstanding! I'm jealous.. what's that pulley under the tensioner and above the smog delete for?
