I am still waiting to hear back from the guy with the 86 Bronco. Heck I can get that for a few hundred more and not have to worry about anything. Guy said it just passed inspection last week, if thats true then it sounds like a great deal.
Well the guy with the 86 wont return my emails and has taken the ad down.
I did get some flat stock and made a support for the passenger side and was able to beat some pieces together to securely mount the battery tray. Im going to go have the battery tested and price a few parts from the salvage number at advance.
I priced just the broken parts on Broncograveyard and it was around $1600 after shipping.....
I really don't see the Zebra getting rebuilt unless a donor truck just happens to blow its motor in front of my shop and the owner wants to get rid of it.
Here in the hills the towns are pretty far apart, at least the ones with people that use the internet are lol. So driving to look at and having to transport back is a PITA
