Bill, is there a picture of the fire wall pad for a 56 C 600, I have 2 of them but they are a little on the beat up side and am going to take one of them and have it duplicated, but the section above the throttle I can't tell if its notched or broken off, as none of these seem to be in stock any longer.
Thank you
Aaron
Bill, I just brought home a 1957 C600, VIN C60U7U36127, 111-inch WB; Color= A (Black) Date= 19F (June 19, 1957); Trans = G (NP M/D 5 Speed w/Overdrive, and Axle = 24, the Timken Model F104 single-speed with 7.20 ratio.
It is in such good survivor shape that the only part I need help locating is the boot for the parking brake, which my 57-63 parts catalog says is B9C-7242-A. Are there any out there? I have the retainer, just need the rubber boot. Thanks in advance for any help. BLUESDEFENDER
I have a 1966 ford f60 with a 330 md motor and I just got a 429 with a C6 transmission I want to put the 429 in my f60, but I want to keep the pto for a plow and dump truck to work, is the 5 speed transmission bell housing replaceable with one that will fit the 429/460 motor, or is it possible to use the C6 automatictransmission and pto ? The 330 is really gutless. Any and all help is appreciated
Thank you for any help
The VIN Is F60CK809669,
One of the reasons I want a big block that is newer is parts availability, i got a 76. Ford f35 with a C6 transmission and it was my brothers truck, and the 429 is a 1970 ford grand Tarino.
I want the weight of the old 66 f60 because I want to travel with a big rv and my camaro in tow, I'd like to keep the pto but if I cant, then I can't, you would think they would have a 12v electric motor that I could drive the pump with , this is all new to me I am looking for a heavy enough truck that won't have problems pulling the weight I want to pull

AND BTW I Have Put A 427 Out Of A Galaxy With The Automatic Transmission In A 68 F250 I Had To Do Some fabrication on motor mount towers and drive line work and a floor shifter but it run good and had plenty of power, i think a 429/ 460 with a C6 automatic transmission would be plenty of power for that f600 ,
Is It impossible to run a pto and a automatic transmission , i thought that the ford C6 automatic transmission was about the toughest automatic transmission they made in the 60s, 70s and 80s
