But what about all the snow and sub freezing weather Stewart?
Sitting in Michigan this past weekend (cousin passed away, me and my brother flew out while my brothers wife stayed with my mom. Put it on the family CC so all it cost me was sleep) with my cousins, catching up on stuff since we haven't seen each other in years, and the talk turned to how much snow they get in Grand Blanc.
I interrupted my cousin and said, "Snow? That's that white stuff that falls from the sky, right? Yeah, I've heard of that stuff!"
Sorry bud, under the circumstances, we only had time for the memorial service and quick visits with family. We were in Grand Blanc.
Flew in late Friday night to Flint and got to the motel just before midnight. Memorial service Saturday, dinner with some cousins that night, Sunday morning breakfast with another cousin and then we flew out.
Go stranded in St. Paul because of Delta so we had to spend the night there and get up at the butt crack of dawn to fly back to San Jose.
Snow, are you just using air in the lines to blow them out? This is my second time winterizing and that is my plan plus antifreeze in the traps and some in the tanks.
we just blow the lines... don't forget to clear your water pump for 20-30 seconds on an empty fresh water tank. Now I know better.
The dealer suggested I bring mine to them the for winterizing so I can watch someone do it the first time. I may just take them up on that...I seem to have gotten lazy when it comes to vehicle maintenance lately, much easier to have someone else to it.

No worries Looks like you were quite far away from me anyhow yet. You were closer when you were stranded in Saint Paul. lol

^^^ This is a great idea if you have never done it before. All RV's are somewhat different and all it takes is one forgotten valve and you will be in more cost than them winterizing it for you.
Do yourself a favor and take notes or video the steps that they follow. You may feel like an idiot while doing it, but next fall you will be thanking yourself.
Good luck - too bad I am a couple hours away, I would be glad to lend a hand.

There is really nothing to it. Check youtube for some how to videos.
Easier than an oil change.

I don't change my own oil anymore either..... All the stuff would cost me almost $100 and the dealer charges $109. I no longer need the gratification of doing my own work so the extra $9.00 is while worth saving the time and effort.
