Looks like a nice little campground. What's it like to camp by grass, lol? All we have around here is dirt, Your grand daughter is cute. She looks a lot like my 6 year old.
The park is Shady Pines RV to the south west of Texarkana. It very clean. We've stayed there twice now and were very happy. It is an overnighter park that is well used by Class A's who come in off the highway later in the evening and disappear early in the morning. Most of the time we didn't even notice.
Just got off the phone with a gentleman in Redding and I have a Hensley heading my way at the end of the week!!! Super excited to get it here and get this thing installed!

Thanks Mark! Now to break the news to the wife that I've spent $700 on a hitch!
Which hitch did you go with? I was given a cheap hitch with the camper from the PO. Used an Equalizer on my previous camper, have heard good things about the Blue OX and thinking of giving it a go.
Edit : Just seen your post above, nice score on the Hensley!

Congrats on the Hensley Arrow! We love ours.
When I bought ours ($650) it was sound but ugly so I pulled it completely apart, replaced 2 bearings and all the seals (all common trailer axle parts from the local parts store!) and repainted and powder coated it. Fortunately it came with a 4" drop stinger which is perfect for our setup (actually both the old TH and new TT) but I had to buy new 1400lb spring bars to replace the 1000lb ones that came with it.
Once it lands at your place feel free to hit me up for any info or help needed to get it installed and setup well.

Really appreciate it! I'm sure I'll have questions! Tried to rep but have to spread it around before I can do it again.

Thanks, Do you know which frame brackets it's coming with? And if they are the correct ones for your trailer? Our old TH had a "top mount" hitch which is the type that our HA came with (the most common style) and our new Jayco TT has a "mid mount" hitch which required the purchase of different brackets. Not a big deal, but something to get sorted out before you install, same as the correct sized spring bars and stinger drop.

I've heard that the Hensley guys will extend the warranty to folks who buy the arrows... did you hear anything about that?

Well, the Hensley guys are more than happy to SELL you a warranty on a used Hensley Arrow hitch, I passed up their kind $500 offer though.
They do buy up used ones and then resell those units once fully refurbished and those HA do come with a lifetime warranty included in the price, last one of those I spoke to them about was about $1200 or so.
I cant wait to post positive reviews on my Propride. Set up was a challenge with the Adjustable hitch bar and figuring out the tilt of the bar. Mostly my over thinking things. I gave PP a call and gave him the measurements he text me pictures of how it should look. I felt a lil dumb but hey whatever it takes. But great company so far
Ill definitely let all know how it goes in about 2 weeks

Hooking up your first time is a challenge, my trailer parking area has a slight slope off of the drive so when I back down the tongue has to be up pretty high, practice will make things easier.
Once you get it hooked and stinger is secured tighten the weight dist rods up but you need to do this on a level surface. I also found I needed airbags just to make sure the truck was sitting flat. Make sure your safety chains are running together under the hitch and not between the dist bars and trailer frame. With the hitch articulation also make sure your wiring is over the top and won't bind.
Sometimes I forget the camper is in tow with the Pro Pride and I am not as tense around big rigs and in the cross winds.
I started tuning up the generators, and organizing the camper... Been trying to figure out how to move the camper and all my toys when I go places.... Came across some ideas, but can't really decide for sure what to do.
Here's the idea...
Did measuring I'd need 53 ft of deck in order to park jeep behind camper, and have a 8x8 deck on the tongue for the atvs...
Thoughts??
Sounds like you will have to buy a semi truck. No way you can get buy pulling that with anything with a bed on it. get over 48ft of trailer and any kind of bed. And your looking at a big Ticket along with sitting on the side of the road. Until you get someone else to pull it out of that state. I know TX will write you up in a heart beat if your over 48ft. Unless your using a semi. And no way to haul anything on the back of it.
I almost put our Truck camper on a trailer like that. Then back the boat up on the back of the trailer. Along with a motor cycle. But now thinking about a Peterbilt with a bed on it. And the Bike on the bed.
