Speaking of jacks. I added these.... Rated at 7,500 lbs each. I don't use blocks to drive into to level the camper at all... I just use these, and after the camper is level, I put down the electric jacks... They made a HUGE difference in how the camper feels. A lot of times I take pritty much all the wt off the springs...
If you are lucky enough to get the build plans, if possible I would like a set.
I tried to get some a while back but didnt have any luck. My TT was a preowned model and the drawing might help me locate the receiver for the remote for the slides. My remote has been missing for a long time
I have seen this adapter before just not sure of the rating.
I wonder how hard of an install it would be on the slide toppers and the awning. Kinda nervous bout drilling into the camper. But guess it couldn't be to bad that duct tape and glue couldn't fix. Have you ever checked out the Jayco owners forum? There is some good mods for us in the Modification section.
If I do get the drawings from Jayco I'll let you know.
Slide topper install looks pretty simple, I would have done it if it weren't for the great deal I had at CW. An awning install should be easy enough for the do it yourselfer too, I had the awning on and off the old TH to make some repairs to it before we traded it in on the 338.
I'm not sure how that ball adapter would work with a HA or PP hitch, I would think with two pivot points (on the ball and via the parallel links in the hitch head) that backing it up may get "interesting".
Dave's added jack positions are perfect for removing suspension bounce/frame flex bounce from a long TT.
Do you mean Slideout Jack stands. I am trying to figure out if I actually need them. On another Forum I got hollered at a few time for using them. I dunno I don't like the TT rocking

I'm probably telling you something you already know, but, if you block under those jacks they are much more stable than when extended more than 1/2 way. Our TT isn't real long but at 28' there is some bounce. Adding blocking under the corner stabilizers all but eliminated the bounce.

I can't stand the bounce. I use the X chocks from the start and they keep the tires nice and still. I got some cheap jacks from walmart to put under the spring mounting points to take the trailer off the suspension. Once those are nice and tight, I block up under the stabilizer jacks to extend them as little as possible before touching. That set up worked well when family came to visit over Christmas and stayed in the trailer. I will take pictures when we arrive in Texas later this month.

Why didn't I think of adding 2 of these. I will be doing this the jacks are pretty cheap and heck i already have 2 to install.
Great idea Dave
I have 3 electric jacks in the shop but all different styles. I got them on a pallet at an auction. I planned to add one to my car trailer because lazy.
Our TT is only 24' so the factory jack at each corner is plenty to hold her solid.
Got the camper out for our first spring trip... just a couple hours down the road to Texarkana...
Got to take the grandbaby with us too...
What a beautiful day... and the grill is going too.
Someone had a good time...
Looks like a nice little campground. What's it like to camp by grass, lol? All we have around here is dirt, Your grand daughter is cute. She looks a lot like my 6 year old.
