That is a nice rig there. If I cant get my "X" to behave this will be what I start towing with. I Cant wait to get home and get everything done to X and clean the TT up and out. I will be installing the W/D Soon and start preparing for our big trip this year.

Thanks we like it. My wife got to see the truck 5 days before me. She took it for a test drive. Sat am at 6am we left the house, 3 hours later we were sitting in the lot. Waiting for them to open up. Took it for a test drive and bought it.
But this one is different, 275HP Diesel pusher RV cummins 5.9 24 valve. Was transplanted in place of the of the duramax. Plus the 5 speed Allison now has the sun coast 6th gear kit in it. Sweet truck and my daily driver. Auto tracking dish on top of the truck.

I have been thinking about putting the auto track dish on the TT and wiring it in where I can plug it into the TV for use during travel and when parked. I wonder if this will actually work.
If a guy doesn't mind the tank on the back bumper (blends in with the other crap on the back bumper) a line could be ran to one of the external "drains" for the water system. Then for winterizing or any draining of the system you just unscrew the line.
I unfortunately don't have anything on my back TT bumper yet so I won't put a tank there. But for guys that do it would be an easy and fast way to add a tank to your system and have easy maintenance.
I would not recommend doing this; it won't hurt anything, but it won't really fix anything either. You want your expansion tank/pressure tank as close to your pressure switch as possible. On a trailer that would be the pump. If you have the tank at the far end of the system the pump is going to lag and then surge, depending on how it is plumbed and if you are setting the pressure correctly or not in the tank, you could actually lose water flow for a split second while running water. I'm a plumber and work on wells on a regular basis and this is kind of the same set up, especially when you introduce the storage tank.

It should work as long as it has a clear site path. I keep thinking about taking this one off the truck. Mount it on the camper in place of the auto dish on it now. Its one of those that has to unfold and turn to get the single.
I have a plug by the RV plug on the bed of the truck. That I can run a cable back to the camper. Thus use the dish on the truck in the camper. The one on the camper takes 5 minutes at times to set up its self and find the sats. And if anything is in the way your out of luck. With the auto track on the truck, It allows me to move the truck 3ft and find the signal.
Not familiar with that but use a lock through that ring. I can't tell you how many plug-in style surge protectors I've heard about getting stolen in the middle of the night.
I watched the water pour off mine today as the sun beat down on the snow. It'll be late May before I ever think about camping unless the weather is just awesome.
I do have some fixes and improvements i want to do before the first trip out this year.

Funny you mention that, I was out by ours today expecting to see the same thing and to actually see where the water was draining off. There was nothing, the roof is clear and dry already. Where was winter?
I started tuning up the generators, and organizing the camper... Been trying to figure out how to move the camper and all my toys when I go places.... Came across some ideas, but can't really decide for sure what to do.
Here's the idea...
Did measuring I'd need 53 ft of deck in order to park jeep behind camper, and have a 8x8 deck on the tongue for the atvs...
Furnace works, TV works, kitchen and bath cleaned, sheets in washing machine, slide and leveling jacks lubed and refrigerator is on. Next, start equipping camper with gear, wash the outside and check running gear. Dewinterizing and sanitizing will be last chore.
