yeah i dont think mine had those indents ill have to look again... but once i broke the crud (corrosion) loose she turned just fine ta where i ended up leaving it
bro i know i already twisted the shaft, it aint gonna budge, ford did this to limit the tinkering we are so well known for. i checked! hahaha. It has about 1/8" of free movement and will travel in that range freely, but the indents hold it really tight because they are on both sides. ill drill tomorrow but like i asked, would i just sit unboosted if i break it?
thats what i figured, i bet i was only a few foot pounds from killing mine too. So anyone!!! please!! will it just be unboosted without the WG or will it be un driveable?
cool, then when i install the new tailgate, i will tinker with the WG. I got a 5th wheel gate for 50. the other option was a stock lariat gate for 175, id still have to repaint it, boring.......lol the 5th wheel is mesh so i can tinker and install cool **** on the gate haha. you shall see my brothers!
