nah i think that's bunk, im going to push to 25-30 psi with a stroke wastegate and see what happens. The turbo is a beast and so is my truck, we are going to boost land baby! Stack is still in storage, need to get it re-coated. Wish i was international minded then....it would have been sweet and now will be lol. So off to boost land, then to stack land!

If you spend the dollars for 7.3 studs, you can run somewhere around 22 PSI before you will blow the intake manifold/valley pan gasket and let boost into the cooling system.

Can't remember which stud they were using, but there is an ARP stud that will work, you just have to cut some length off.

There was a supplier making 7.3 studs, but the price was close to 1000 dollars for a set.

In all reality, more than 20 PSI on either the 6.9 or 7.3 opens several other cans of worms for you to deal with.

Yes, there are ways around each of them, it only takes time and money for each fix.
wreck if u go much over 20 and blow ur motor can i have the left overs

every single time joe, you cant beat the knowledge of ford techs and their solid education of how each and every ford works. its by far the best out there.

no it wasnt a ford tech that built his motors, they were from a third party. ford does it best and trains the best, everyone knows that, comeon joe, youre killing me, ford techs are rock solid man.
