decided to do some inside work! waiting for the heaters to "bake it" and then the charcoal gray goes on the oval and lettering.

Yep I did a 400 sand job and chem wipe followed by another sanding and cleaning. It's wheel paint that is just about the toughest paint you can buy in a can.

Is the air cleaner metal or plastic? I always had it in my head that it was plastic.

The ATS ones are cast aluminum. The Ford one looks just like it, but with the Ford oval.

Holy crap batman, -9 today and i finished most of it! Awesome part was routing the fuel lines, not so much fun. The turbo sat perfect and fell right into the y collector, friggin awesome. The crossover was perfect as well. The only easy parts of the whole thing haha. Just have to get some tiny clamps for the tiny tubing i used for the return line reroute from 7 & 8. Cant tell yet if the oil line is going to work. Seems that it might be worn a bit. Might find a suitable flexible replacement. Triple pod is going in tomorrow along with the gauges. Turbo sits permanent tomorrow as well as the rest, what an ordeal. The only thing remaining is the trans tube final location. Still have to work that out. How close can that be the the down pipe without causing problems?

-12C this morning in my neck of the woods. We didn't get much snow, but it was pretty cold under those clear skies.

I tried using various improvised solutions for a hard steel line, but they kept leaking or cracking and just ended up buying a SS cased soft hose instead. You should be able to blow the tires off rather easy with that setup once you're done!

if the weather was nice and i could feel what i was touching, it would go so much faster haha. Yes though, its a lot of work! If i bought an elbow and attached it to the turbo, then ran the flexible line that should work right? Any idea on the right length? Thanks!
