i repeat paul: the south as defined by slave owning states starts at longitude 36* 30 minutes. well below your state. wtf does it matter anyways? i live in illinois. missouri stole all our coolness, and our original capitol.

And the South as defined by the Mason-Dixon line starts at (crazy) the Mason-Dixon line. Right above my state. It doesn't matter either way, the South (wherever you want to define it) was right as far as State's rights were concerned anyway and that's what I think so it doesn't really matter where I live and what Dedeedirby wants to call me and whatever implications said calling have. The Federal government just failed to define what a person was-ie Slaves were equipment to southerners and the govt was telling them they had to get rid of their equipment. Could you imagine what would happen if there were a tractor ban from DC tomorrow?

yeah, well, illinois is the home of the original liberty bell. it's on a little island on the border to missouri, where our original capital was. it's still a township. it has a ms address, but they are il residents. place called kaskaskia. was the original gateway to the west, now it's barely even known about.
