That was kinda the point to that "line". i have seen numerous times that people just totally bash the 6.0l b/c of things they have heard about it. then they are asked if they have ever worked on one and they say no. well then how do you know if they are really that bad or not. that's were i am coming from. guys at work are just like that. i tell them that i want a 6.0l they say no way b/c it is a POS. they say it plugs oil coolers, and blows EGR coolers, and blows HG's, and whole list of things that the 6.0l eats. then i ask them if they know why it does that. they don't know why it does that, but all they know is there is nothing good about the engine. well if they actually took the little amount of time to research they would see that there is "hope" for that engine.

i also expect bias on forums but sometimes it level of bias is just disgusting.

Not used this visitor message thing before, hope I'm doing it right.
I see what you're talking about Eric. I'd hope people would expect some bias from whatever forum they joined. If someone posts that they're thinking of selling they're IDI to buy a Chevy their going to catch flack. And visa-verse on a GM forum.
Where you lost me was saying that we bad mouth something because we either do not know it or fear it. So my point was, for me, that if I bash something it is not without lack of knowledge or out of fear.

Yeah, I've nailed him a bunch of times too. He seems to be the one who deserves it the most but his "green bean" count doesn't do him justice.

Thanks 94, my truck is basically like yours. Theres an autozone pretty close and thats where i saw the gauges. Just wanted some info before i spent money on it. Would like to see what kinda boost i'm getting. Might try to go up just a little. I know you can't put much boost on the stock gaskets and studs though. I was told no more than 12psi. I have never installed one, so could i get a little info with it? Thanks

Hey 94, I'm wanting to put a boost gauge on my truck. I can only find a couple of sunpro gauges around here. I want a decent gauge, but just spent money on my truck and I'm on a tight budget with it. Any suggestions?

Hey 94, just wandering what have you done to your truck, if anything? Duh, just read your profile. Still getting used to this. Sorry.
