Well i got my axles mocked up for the first time tonight. now im sending off my front axle to get the c's rotated. but im not happy with my rear. i dont think i have a good shackle angle. i think my axle is an inch or so foward to much.
center of the axle should be in the center of that little piece on the frame that i have a yellow square around right?
heres a pic of my shackle angle.

and here is the whole thing, the front is barely put together, just so i could tell that guy what i wanted my pinion angle to be so he could set my outer c's to the right caster but im glad to finally see something happen. I still dont have enough lift in the year yet either.

Your rear angle will fix itself when you put weight on the rear, like the additon of the body. You may have to wait until you put the body on to ge the rear finished up.

Iunno guys. That shackle is so far forward that when he gets weight on it im afraid itll just keep goin in the direction it is now. I could be wrong but thats what it looks like. From most ive seen with no weight the shackle should pretty much be pointing strait down.

Also if your keeping the factory shackle hanger flipped i would gusset it. Ive seen a few like that bend.

ya the frame weight is on it. im going to make a sky flip, and when i do that im going to move it to where the eye of my leafs are about a half inch behind the eye of the hanger so that should take care about that, but i dont wanna dril holes in the back until i get the front hanger where i want it, i think i need to move it back about an inch because i think the axle is just too far foward, but im not at the amount of lift i need yet, so its being a pain in the butt, because there are 3 different thing that need adjusted and all need to work together, so im just focusin on the front right now and the rear is on the back burner, but ill see what happens this weekend. just thought i would post some pics of the project.

easy now, im going to fix it, im not wanting it to flex alot just about the normal amount. someday way down the road i think i might want to 4 link the rear, but i think that might be a smaller setup. i just thought i would put some pics on here and see what you all think and see if there were any suggestions

the rear frame hanger needs to be moved forward or the front frame hanger needs to be moved backwards AT LEAST 2". The shackle should be pretty close to straight up with no weight and at roughly a 20* angle once finished.

ok sounds good? 20* like straight up and down almost or like almost flat? and is the little piece of metal on the frame that i have the yellow box around, should the center of that be straight up from the center of the axle? thanks

Just move the front hangers rearward. You already said the axle is farther forward than it was, so moving the front will put it back to where you wanted it and help fix that angle.

Edit: Kris is saying straight up and down now, and the bottom should be about 20* behind the upper when it's done.
