take a regular cover for the plug and weld it in.
just to be sure its sealed on the inside of your cover on the weld seam lay a bead of silicone grey.

ok, you could of told me that, wasnt too complicated. I was just wondering if i could punch out like a 3/4" hole and weld in the unit, without tryin to hack one out of another and putting it into mine.

no, i wasnt sure if they made them or not, but like punch a hole at 3/4" or so, and like a 3/4" outside diameter plug that is like 1" long, with oo like 9/16" threaded hole on the inside of it where your plug would be? just seems like it would be alot easier, had no clue if the made one or not just was wondering

Any stock '77.5-'79 front pan that I have ever seen is made out of heavier material than a rear pan.

Just what I said, a stock front pan is made out of thicker material than a rear pan.

oo ok, ya i plan on leavin it alone. maybe making one that is on the bottom side, not welded together, but bolts on to the bottom half. to where it would never put pressure on the acaul cover just the housing and the ring of the covers.
