nice thanks, ill just have to make drill the holes an inch wider in the gap right, and what about on my coil when i bolted them up to my upper buckets only, they could move all the over the place, is that right, i tighten them down as much as possible, just didnt seem right?
The tube on your 60 should only be 1/2" wider than the mount of the 44 c's. Don't know why Paul said 1". Don't drill the lower bucket until you have the c's on and all bolted up, then measure it right the 1st time for drilling the new hole.
Cause youd be a total idiot with a fat wallet and no sense if you paid $49 for 4 pieces of steel plate and 8 grade 8 bolts. If you want the spacer's I'll make you some and sell them to you for $45, better deal?
haha ok, well the only reason i would buy them is it would be very easy. if i make them i would have to track down some .5" steel cut that shape out, buy the bolt which i went to the farm store today and couldnt find any the right thread. then i woud have to mark them and drill them with and i have no drill press soi would spend 5 hours making them and running around town finding stuff for 30-35 bucks or shipped to my door for 50
yep. Measure 1st! you can quickly tack them to the tube, then measure edge to edge on the 44, then measure edge to edge on the 60. Take the difference, divide by 2 and that's how much you need to cut from the inside of the c's.
Don't the super duty springs, shackles and hangers use a metric bolt size ? If they do they might not do you any good with the '79 spring's sae through bolt size. There could be a hole size mismatch.
