Man, you all were busy while I was gone. My dog died today, so I haven't really been in the mood to get online. Now I had to read through 8 new pages lol.

You got lucky getting that kind of mileage out of yours. My next door neighbor gets less than 8 mpg's out of his empty. It's a reg cab, 6 speed, not sure on gear ratio. All the ones we use on our job sites get around 10-11 mpg's. The one my cousin had got about 10-11 as well.

Oh yeah, for sure if we had the same tranny you would outpull me. I am just going by yours vs mine how they sit at the moment. You have the better engine, but a truck with a lesser engine but better set up will still out pull it.

We have almost the same peak hp, but you have more torque. I have better flowing heads than you do, so mine carries the torque curve higher in the rpm range, so the same peak hp with less peak torque. Give your v10 even more torque, but even worse flowing heads(less peak hp) and you'll have a 460.

Thanks. It's been a rough day for sure. I got him when he was 8 weeks old, so I have had him ever since he was a puppy.

On a side note, I need to change my name on here because everyone keeps calling me Phillip lol. Phillips is my last name and 91 is the year model of a few of my mustangs.

An aftermarket air intake will help you a lot. Check in your side of the website for info/suggestions.

The truth is, the thing was kinda "shade-tree" and no track I've ever been to would'a let it in the spectator lot, let alone on the strip! But I did find a pic of the thing and will scan it and post it up tomorrow.
