But my $.02 is, I said it once and here it is again:

(Us gassers)

We dont need none of this EGT, particulate filter, ULSD, regeneration, glow plugs, faulty injectors, expensive oil changes, water in fuel, masking off our front end because our trucks are afraid of the cold, intercoolers, dual batteries, or any of that other oil burner voodoo.

Last but not least, any of you diesel guys cannot argue this one... my vacuum pump is not only bigger than yours-- but makes 260 horse out of the box Now thats how you really please a lady... and when she's done having fun with it, she won't smell like an oil refinery
hahaha, Them there's fightin' werds.

Depends on the lady. A good friend has a wife with a camper. He cleans it and tows it for her. (Depending on which you ask, you may get a different story.) At any rate... she has 'spensive tastes... and it flattened the springs on the 250... so he bought a 350... then a 550... which i don't think was available with a gasser. :-) Wonder why...? He loves his 550, she loves him... and now she's got plenty of room to take care of him in style when they get where they're going.

You single guys can keep your gassers for impressing the ladies with how fast you are. Some women prefer size to speed. I'll stick with my 7.3.

Don't kid yourself... size matters.

Uh no, prior to my mods I would get 8 to 11 towing my brick wall, depending on how much of a hurry I was in. And it depends on what type of weight. I towed my brother's 6,000 pound tractor and still got about 15 at 65 because there was no wind resistance like there is with my toy hauler.

Neither of my 7.3's have an EGT, which you gasser probably does, a particulate filter, but yours probably has a catalytic converter, USLD fuel, yes, but you have to deal with various formulas of reformulated gas, (the new diesels are designed to run off this crap). Glow plugs, yes, guilty. Injectors, and so does your gasser unless it's carburated. Oil changes, I go 15,000 miles between changes with oil analysis. Water in fuel, we don't have to deal with it either unless we get bad fuel. My trucks start just fine in cold weather. I will plug them in when it hits the single digits when at home. When I'm out, that ain't an option. Intercoolers, only one of my trucks has one. Dual batteries, not necessary, but it helps.

260 horses!!!! Is that all? As for the diesel smell, she loves it when I roll coal in front of the house when the windows are open. It really turns that redneck girl on!

There is no sound like that of a diesel either. The wife and kids know when I am a few blocks away.LOL And no it is not the rattling they hear, it's the exhaust tone.LOL

Try to straight pipe a gasser, not gonna happen. Too darn many laws that prevent that.

You can get a gasser F550, and I can get some no matter what motor is under the hood.

Now them r some of them fightin words lmao

Hey I take offense to the idea that I'm single, I got me a good lovin woman... but she comes from a Chevy family and there's a little static

But I had a 7.3 (IDI with an ATS turbo and gear vendors UD/OD

The 7.3 is a good motor especially the direct injection ones, but what am I supposed to say? It's not my fault my itty bitty 5.4 can out tow it, and like I have said, my sexy little thing dont smell like a refinery when we go out

As a matter of fact, this is off topic and trivial but w/e, I took the little later to the 1913 room in the Amway Garand (formerly the only 5 star restaurant in MI) and got me that free valet parking Halfway thru our romantic dinner I get a call from a guy from work telling me I parked like an *** in the parking ramp taking up 4 prime parking spaces in the parking ramp. Long story short we put down a bottle of wine or 4 (I'm 235 so I was far from drunk, but inhibitions had definitely been lowerd) and when we left I made me a nice burn out on the marble floor of the amway's indoor turn around. Last I checked I still had my 305/70/16 rubber layon on their fancy floor. THe only other real truck (3/4 ton or superior) that could do that was my '86 460 with a holley 850 double pumper, edelbrock 460 performer intake, came, headers, etc.

I have never drivin an oil burner that could do that, not sayin it cant happen, but my 5.4 had 0 issues making my exit to go park the beef bus in tuna town

I love my gasser, and will never go back to diesel ever ever ever ever again

I guarantee you will not be able to tow my 40' toy hauler up a hill. On the flat land, you will get it to moving, but you will not make it up the hill. 16,000 lbs of fun.

My 7.3 will not leave a single mark on the asphalt (not to mention something slippery like marble), it leaves 4.

Well just today, my wife was following me and I was trying to **** her off, so I was going about 15 mph and romped on it. Sure enough, tire tracks down the street. From a standstill I can rip them up to 50. You sure a oil burner can't do that.

Where do you live? I think a test is in order!

Maybe he locks the trailer brakes to get his gasser to spin the tires?
