Lisa,She is doing great with it.I can't tell her that, but when the other moms tell her they can tell she losing wieght its great.
She will be the first to tell you she has good days and bad ones.I am proud of her,she watches what she eats and some how finds time to work out, even with the kids at home runing wild.
How you doing with the new job?
Brad, its because you are predisposed to tell her she looks good. lol.
But, obviously you'd be the first to see she is losing weight. Some positions in the bedroom, how could you not?
Good days and bad days? Boy do I sympathize with that. The past three days with these work functions, it has been constant food, and bad food at that.
The job is great. I love my boss, never in my life have I liked a boss so much. I just have ultimate respect for him.
Best advice ever. When I first opened my bank account I never thought my savings would one day save my butt, but it did! I put at LEAST 10% of my check in my savings and was good to go. My parents have both read Dave's book and I think next time I see them I will get it from them.
I guess I should read this guys book just to see what all the hoopla is about. I've listened to him on the radio a couple of times, and most of what he says just sounds like common sense. I don't agree with his no credit card rule, but I pay my balance off every month. It all boils down to save some money for the unexpected, and don't spend money before you make it.
That advice is older than he is. He was just smart enough to realize no one was following it, and capitalize on the opportunity to spread old news. I do agree that most of what he says is sound advice
We had a good time...no pics...Cris hid behind her 3 year old when I grabbed the camera!
I finally got home...there must be 40 police cars in my neighborhood...all I got from the officer was they had someone in custody...took me 15 minutes to get the last block home and there was 3 police cars parked in front of my home!

How many here have read this book?
Ive read his book, and taken his Financial Peace course. Chris you are correct that 98% of what it tells you is all common sense, but sometimes it takes someone whacking you up side the head to make you realize that you are not being senseable. I was guilty of trying to keep up with the Jonses, but then I realized the Joneses were shoulder deep in debt with little chance of getting out of it, and I did not want to be that way. The only things that I owe for right now are my house, my camper, and the little white tuna can Suzuki.
