John, since your a cop, what kind of physical shape do you keep yourself in? (honestly)
My cousin-in-law is a rcmp up here, and hes a tall lanky guy (6'6 or so and 230 lbs)
He looks like he is in great shape, but we went out running around in the deep snow, and he was panting long before i was, and im 6'2 245lbs, and in ok shape, but not what i consider to be great (specially compared to the shape of what I think a cop/rcmp would be in!)

Well, I'm also in SWAT so we have to maintain a fitness level which involves running a mile and a half within time parameters set according to age. Pushups, situps, pullups, dragging a 100 pound dummy, and so on. I'm 6'4" and 205 lbs. Honestly, I probably need to lose about ten pounds that I've gained while on this straight dayshift assignment the past six months. And to be honest, it's easy to fall out of shape if you're not vigilant about it. I've got three kids, two of which are in elementary school. My wife owns two businesses and between working swingshift, going to the school, PTA, helping my wife out on the side, and everything else I've got going on, it's hard to find the time to workout like I should. But I try to fit it in when I can. My schedule allows very little if any time to just frump around which is good and bad I guess.
Thats interesting man, do you happen to know/remember any of the time parameters? Id like to see if i could make it or not
I'll have to look it up to make sure but I'm thinking the last time for me it was 15 minutes (I'm 41) which was not a problem. The allowable time increases as you go up in age.

We got to talking and it turns out she's normally an inspector for Class A CDLs.
So as I was getting out of the car I told her I'd see her in a year and a half (when I'll be 18) She laughed.
I'm having a good day right now. Just waiting to hear from Jim on how his day's going.
Congrats Pete I'm really happy for you and proud also.
She never showed up and they dismissed the charges. They are going to "advise" the Acushnet PD that they feel that she should be charged with filing a false police report, but it is up to them whereas the report was files with them. I had the note that she wrote to J-L that she admitted to lying and also there was someone that told him that she was lying also.
All in all that sounds like a pretty good day, Jim.
I can't even begin to describe how happy I am that I never have to sit around like a moron waiting for a ride because someone forgot to pick me up or something else along those lines.
