I went to the dr for my sore throat and guess I caught it before it got bad...

with all the wind my allergies are kicking up...lil post nasel drip while sleeping.

Dr told me some throat lozenges and take my allergy meds and I should be good...lots of fluids too.

I cut my heart meds in half ( dr orders ) and my BP was still 98/60 today

F-ing priceless.....

O.k. I dont think ill be around much tonight, or tomorrow.
Alli, has her spend the night Birthday party tonight. 10 twelve year old girls running around, but, I have a plan...... Since I am one of Ansley's softball coaches, she and I have to be at a make up game tonight from 7ish till 9ish. then we are coming home, having cake and ice cream and moving outside to sleep in the camper tonight. We have to be back at the softball field by 7:30am for pictures, and then a game at 9am. By the time we get home all those tweens should be outta my house.

Home! I cant get motivated enough to drive 20 minutes to the closest gym. I spent maybe 700 bucks on all my equipment and figured it would be even soon enough. Fuel and membership...breakeven maybe just a little over a year, so it was a good investment!

Bowflex Selecttech Dumbbells and stand
Bowflex 3 way adj bench
Stationary Bike

Selecttechs save SOOOOOO much room. That in itself is worth the 300 bucks for em!

Selecttechs, never heard of em, whats the deal with them??

Ive always wanted a bowflex. I have always used free weights though, ever since I was a kid. A guy can buy em cheap haha, thats why I used to use them.

I have one of those york 9001 gyms, a bunch of free weights, a crappy bench that I cant use, and a cross trainer. Sandi has a bunch of bands, and one of those big workout ***** (not a medicine ball the other one).

Bowflex® SelectTech® Dumbbells | Product Information

Just look at them...you will see!

So easy to use and space saving. You dont have to hunt for anything, just turn the dial and there you go!

I have the 552 model. I actually think the lowest you can set it on is 10lbs just like the other model.

I got myself a decent little gym for like 500 bucks. People buy brand new stuff and either set it up and never use it or never even take it out of the box then realize they never use it and put it up on Craigslist for next to nothing in comparison to new.

And if I want to use something a little more complete I can head over to my mom's friend's house (My mom and the woman of the family have been friends forever, the guy is a framer, and my brother and I ride quads with the two sons) and they have a full gym and I have a standing invitation to use it whenever I want.

That's nice and the daughter is a Senior in highschool and SMOKIN hot.

Actually Tristan they do look pretty cool!

Pete, I got my york gym set for free from craigslist, love that site! Some lady just didnt want it anymore! What kinda gym is yours?

I know when I get the house out here, im gonna get more stuff. I really love working out in my own home, and will have tons of extra space there.

I suppose I phrased that incorrectly. I got a ton of free weights and a weight bench and all other kinds of good stuff of craigslist for cheap. I'm not sure what brand, but weights all weigh the same no matter what brand they are. I know it's an olympic style weight bench.

I love workin out in my own home as well. I worked out all thru HS with football and the field events in track and it got old having to stay late or go outta my way to keep it up. Im by no means the slimmest person in the world but if I didnt do the weights and the bike...no tellin where I would be right now! Its a convenience I like having at home!

I got my selecttechs off ebay for just under 300 shipped to my door. I thought I got heck of a deal. The bench and the stand I ordered from Bowflex's scartch and dent ebay store for less than 100 bucks. The bike I got from Dick's sporting goods for almost half price. Friend of mine I graduated with in HS is a "corporate buyer" for them and I used her discount! lol

Oh yeah Pete I get ya, I thought maybe ya got one of those all in one type gyms too. Nothing wrong with free weights though. I think I only have maybe about 200 lbs of free weights in all, but i can get a pretty good workout with that. I wish I had a good bench though, one with a leg press would be the bomb!

Tristan your a pretty big boy, I dont know if I would wanna work out with ya! I would kill myself trying to keep up with ya!

My knees prevent me from doing much leg work. Thats what the bike is for! Im so flaky on when I workout, Sheldon. I can get a good routine goin for a month, switch up the routine up, go on vacation or something, and lose everything! Its hard to get started again. I feel like an idiot everytime! I havent done biceps in like 2 weeks until today...I will be sore as anything tomorrow.

I downloaded a new workout chart to keep myself on track better this time around. We shall see!

I cant do but 52.5 pounds on each! Not like theres much to keep up with in the weight area! Sometimes I wish I bought the 90lb ones but they were way 2 expensive!
