I've been so excited about being able to go Saturday that I almost forgot to renew my licences.DOH! While I was on the VDGIF website I found out more about this damn boater safety course that all boat and PWC operators have to take by a certain time based on age. Its a bunch of crap if you ask me! You can take the test as many times as needed to pass(with the ones available online) Its 6 friggin hours long. ON the VDGIF website in Q&A section it talked about the fact that in 2006 there were 20 some (i think) watercraft fatalities. That was the year that dipstick ran his speedboat over the old couple at Smith Mtn lake. He was drunk. Its the irresponsible people like that, that cause this. Thats another reason why you will not catch this ol' boy and my boat on that lake!

She wants to go to some comedy club tomorrow night but I told her I had to work. A flat out lie, but I think its a ploy to make her ex jealous. Jealous of what I don't know, but still. Drama is one thing I hate. I wont turn down the offer to come visit her at her place for a few hours tho...

I don't know how 4 of their 8 tires got slashed during the rest of the week...
Test was OPEN book and cost ONE dollar...still have the card to this day! Pointless...just for the quick buck...and the ticket of like 30 something bucks....

I got ticketed in Florida for not having my "boaters safety card" on me. I said Im from VA...never heard of such a thing. Gave me a ticket anyways. I was 16 and when my pops and all his buddies finally found out where I was they got madder than heck. The officer told them "he handles the boat better than most grown folk around here". Dad was like so that warrants a ticket?!

They said the fines here will $100 if caught operating without the card. There were stipulations for non residents, but I cant remember what though.
