good choice on the plasma cutter Pete.
once you start using it, you will never pick up a cutting torch again.
i have used my oxy torch exactly 1 time in the past 3 years since i got the plasma machine, and that was only because the piece i needed to cut was too far away from the garage and the truck would not start to get it to the door.
harbor freight has a decent 40 amp 240 volt single phase unit on sale rite now for $649.99
while it is not made for everyday use, it is fine for occasional use in a home garage.
i have had mine for a little over 3 years, and use it on average at least once a week. i just changed the tip last week for the first time.
Just don't think I would use it enough to justify at this time.

Trade one smoke in your lungs for another. That was not part of the plan!
Good morning everyone. We got up late this morning. Had breakfast a little bit ago so I am going to bypass the coffee this morning and progress right to a Bloody Mary. Wooohoooo! Can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!
Good morning every one!!!!! Had a great night last night went out to my friend burgers house and we messed around on our pit bikes out there, then one of our friends with a Dirty max showed up and we went to ice cream in it. It was alright but its was way to quite compared to our 7.3!!!!!
How was every one else's Friday night?
$350 for the consultation with a dermatologist, and for the meds mattie will need to kick her current infections. She is now on an antibiotic, antifungal, a steroid...ear drops, ear flush...heartworm. I am going to need a pill sorter just for Mattie.
We're going to have to put her on a natural diet. If she doesn't react positively to the natural diet, we have to go back in for $400 worth of allergy testing, and develop a shot for her allergies, which she'd have to be on for the rest of her life.
So for now I gotta figure out what type of natural diet to put her on. She has to have a meat she's never had before...like venison, alligator, ostrich, kangaroo...you get the idea. Hoping I will be able to find a reliable source of venison around here.....

so, in other words, what you are trying to tell us is that very shortly, your dog is going to be eating better than most of the people in this country??

Try free range goat meat. It's about the same as venison

LOL yep, pretty much. She is already spoiled rotten, and now she is going to think she's getting a people's dinner every night.
But if cooking her food every day will keep me from havin to spend $350 for vet visits, I am all for it.

Ray I like the idea, but I am bound to use only the types of meat she suggested. We've tried lots of different types of dog foods, and Mattie has to be put on a food trial that only uses food she's never had....in order to see if her allergies are food borne. If I stray outside of the food options she gave me, I risk doing it all for nothing. She even said she stays away from certain wild or exotic meats simply because in molecular terms, its very similar to a more common type of meat and she may react to it just the same.
She is Awesome. Poor thing I hope she feels better.
Thanks Joe. I have a feeling I am going to spend close to $1,000 on making her better, but hopefully when we're finished we won't have to deal with it anymore and she'll be a happier dog. No more itchy feet and ears.
Do you have any pets?
Edit: yeah! Mattie can saw logs. Sometimes I have to go sleep in the guest bedroom because BOTH Randy and Mattie are snoring, in sync too. Sometimes they are both snoring and passing gas in sync. Its like having two guys in the house.
