Ray if I knew where to get those I'd use them. Fortunately it's November in New England and it's about refrigerator temperature outside so I don't think it'll melt on me.

I shake everyones hand, men, women, whatever, the same. Always have. Now, usually a girl will wimp out and give you the half assed shake, which I then loosen on, but usually, its the usual firm grip.

I'm all hands on!!! lol

Some guys will try to break your hand, but thats just lame. It's like walking on the beach with a speedo. Yea, we get it, you need to prove something pal.....
The funny thing is, those guys that try to crush my hand, get a quick look from me and the I turn on the vise-grip. Good luck hurting my hand pal...dumb ***...

g'morning all!!
well said my friend, well said. I have nothing to prove until I need to....

You can have great physical strength, but without self control and finesse, you are only one step above a gorilla.

Climbing will definately strengthen your grip - your very life depends upon it.
But again, why break the other's hand just to prove it?
I turn wrenches for a living and have a very well developed grip, but never try and show it off. Just enough to let them know that I am heterosexual.
Thats awesome Dan, well put.

End of that rant. Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive FF but we really started as a really close knit group.
Yep, we started that way for sure....

We had a HUGE thunderstorm roll right over my house.
The thunderclap shook the whole house and woke me up out of a dead sleep.
Now I wish I could get back to sleep.

g'mornin' all!!

Pete - ever heard of Knox Blocks? very similar to jello but I think they hold up in warmer temps a little better. They'd have less give than say, wadded up newspaper, so my idea would be wadded up newspaper then some knox blocks inside the inner box. When wadding the newspaper maybe using scotch tape and crunching some tighter than others would help.

Jim - get Will to use a real camera!!

Brent - i KNEW you'd appreciate that link!

I start work Monday. My clearance FINALLY came through, so now it's back to the grind! (and funding for mods!!!)

Seems to me another thing that might work for you would be diapers.. like huggies or pampers, soak a couple of those things, they swell up 3 to 4 times their size, and they have a jello like feel to them.
