Sulking about it won't do me any good John just have to keep pluggin along and see what happens.

I will pass on the B-Day wishes to her when she gets home from school. We are going to have a small cake tonight and the party is on Saturday at Mom's house. I rented a bouncy bounce thing with a slide but they called and said that the air pump for it is broken they are trying to get a new one in time for Saturday. They said that they will take care of me for the trouble. It will be fun non the less.

Mornin' everyone.

My day hasnt started off so well, guy calls places an $85 order to be ready at 8, so we make it not big deal. He calls back at 8 when he was suposed to pick it up and said "where are you located?" I told him, he goes "oh well I placed that order an hr ago and I cant come pick it, I thought it was a different location, bye" and hung up. He wanted the store in Silver Spring, we are located in Cloverly. When people call we answer the phone "Fractured Prune in Clovery" everytime...

Dont ya love it when people listen?

Id love to learn a few things from someone like that, I love watching those sniper shows on tv. 1st time I shot with my dad (hell first time I shot a gun that wasnt a BB gun lol) I was out shooting him with a 22. He bet me I couldnt hit a road sign at about 65yrs, hit it first shot and he never hit it. We were both using 22's, his was his fathers and mine was my moms father.

Doubt Ill be heading that way, but If I do Ill let you know
Well, you know I'm right off 95 and 295...where you heading?!

Id start taking CC #s for large orders like that. Then they can either come and pick it up or get charged for it anyways!

Either NC and then to Fl or just straight to FL. Might not even happen though.

The thing is if its not signed they can dispute it and even though they really did order it, there isnt enough proof that they did because I dont have a signed copy. Been there done that, it gets to be a hassle trying to fight for your money. Ive had people dispute a 5 or 6 dollar charge, I had the customers copy and they took the signed copy. I didnt realize what they did untill they were gone but Im sure they knew what they were doing by taking the signed copy.

What about if you get the CVC/CVV#(or whatever it is) off the back of the card? Theres gotta be a way for you to do it. The delivery places where I went to college would be outta business by now if they allowed all those disputes!

http://www.sti.nasa.gov/cvv.html

It will give them one less reason to dispute a charge...

Thats what I thought too, but they refused it for a few bucks and we got stiffed on it. Said somthing about a stolen card, when it just so happened that I was the one that rung her up and I vividly remember checking here ID because, well she was hot and I wanted to know how old she was

Yea, the credit processing folks for the majority of the businesses around where I went to school required the CVC # because they were all delivery and it cut down on the fraud cases. Definitely worth looking into. I think a single phone call would be worth $85 bucks!

Good luck! Im off to work!

see Chris...if you werent staring at her ***** you would have noticed she took the wrong reciept!

I used to see a lot of machines that printed the reciepts together so the customer signed both.
