Unfortunately I was out washing up dad's 6.0 at the time.
That poor truck is driven hard and put away wet.
If I didn't keep it cleaned up it would've been washed 2x since it was new in 06. Both of those times were my brother.
I think I'm going to clay bar it if there's still enough light left once dad gets home. I left the stuff I'm going to need in his toolbox.

Gosh, that's an understatement.
In fact, just a couple days ago, I looked at Randy and said "Can we go home now?".
Iowa isn't bad. It really isn't. It's a nice place to live and it really is beautiful here. I just miss my family, even though they annoy the hell out of me sometimes.
I miss the mountains, too.

It's cold and rainy today -June 2nd!!!! 50 degrees and the mountains are getting a snow dusting. Should be 80 on Thursday.

Everyone at home has been complaining about the rain. Good grief!
Rain is good..it means no fire bans, and grass you don't have to water twice a day.
I'll be out late this month and into July for a week and a half. Looking forward to having a campfire when we head up into the hills.

Lisa do you get to Des Moines often? I have a friend of mine that works at a Chrysler store there, they got the letter that Chrysler is pulling their franchise.

Yeah, a lot of that going on around here Ed. A few Chrysler places here in Cedar Rapids are being "forcibly" closed down as well.
