Well I had an interesting night...

Went over to a buddy's house last night and played cornhole ( http://www.playcornhole.org/ ) until it started raining. I mean RAINING. First few drops came and felt like someone slapping you in the head. Well little did we know the "20%" chance of rain last night ended up flooding a LOT of the roads. It takes me around 25 minutes to get home. Last night it was 3 minutes shy of an hour.

To top all of that off...
Two minutes after I started on my way home I pass a cop. Im doing nothing wrong but squinting trying to see. Well I pull out and go 45 and he catches up to me. I send a text to my buddy that works as a deputy in the county and sure enough 30 seconds later I get lit up like a xmas tree. I see his face and hes laughing hysterically and I told him to meet me at the next gas station. I was gonna get real smart with the cop if it wasnt him since I know all my lights work, wasnt speeding, wasnt drunk, always signal...
Ended up talkin to him about 30 minutes and catchin up on the last 3 weeks its been since Ive seen him. It was a pretty good night!

Nice night Tristan!

I went out for the last Happy Hour Cruise of the boating season (here in MD). Tomorrow we pull the boat out, clean it, winterize & fix a couple things and then.... who knows?

Tonight though... I'm getting crabs!!!

Maryland steamed crabs!! Yeah, I know what y'all were thinking, and in all my years I've NEVER EVER had the "itchy scratchies" as I like to call them (lumped together). Can't wait... it's been years!!! Maybe if I'm lucky Alicia will go down to the creek behind her place and get me a lobster too. hahahaha

Im glad you put the "back" part in your statement! lol

Ive got a few things planned. One of those is supposed to be tonight, but we shall see about that. After that who knows...it rained way too much last night and it put me in a dreary mood. Still have yet to leave for work...lol

Morning

It's sorta cool and drizzly here today. I slept in until 6:20 this morning! I feel wierd and goofy but in a good way.

Last night a family of raccoons decided to crash in on my back porch, knock over the trash and get into a bag of dog food I had thrown away.

This weekend I am off to Omaha to Randy's parents for the weekend. They are building a new house out in the country so I am looking forward to seeing the progress.

We have that. My wife won it in a silent auction at work for a United Way fund drive a couple years ago. It is all done up with MN Vikings colors and logos. We call that game "Bags".

Hell all! Rainy here today. Going camping one last time for the year this weekend.

I think Fall is upon us. Well, the nice thing about Fall here is that the temperature slowly but steadily falls as Winter approaches. It's not out of the ordinary to have temps in the 70s and 80s during the day well into November.

Yea, cornhole sounds like something dirty...

Im gonna start playing at a bar up in Richmond. $250 bucks on the line for the winning team. Since August 22nd my teammate and I have been beaten no more than 15 times. We play, on average, 8 games a night once a week now, but at the beach in August we played probably 20 games a day for 5 days straight. Came back from being down 16-4 last night and won 21-18. We actually had like 26 points, but they dont matter. I figure an extra 125 in my pocket every Sunday wont hurt!
