Still waiting for the phone call. They said yesterday but hopefully today. Maybe tonight I will be doing some to celebrate or out of frustration.
I agree that the world loves to hide behind whatever they can instead of face to face. I friggen hate that.
Here's hoping Jim, I was wondering about it this morning as well.
Yes, as much as I enjoy technology, I hate that everyone hides behind it also. A few times over the years, I'll submit a bid to someone, in person and then they will say "yes" and when I get home I'll have an email that says "no thanks, we changed our mind" come on, your not gonna hurt my feelings, just man up and tell me the truth!
Reminds me of a line in a song I like, "If I shake your hand in look you in the eye you can bet your *** its the truth".
Morning all. Man it was nice and cool outside here a couple of hours ago, actually took the dog for a nice walk!
Brendan, they are lucky your a nice guy. As for me, the trailer would have stayed right where it was parked. If they didnt like it, I would wait until the complainer talked to me about it, and even then I might have a hard time moving it. (just due to the fact they didnt ask ya right off the bat)
Im generally a nice guy, but stupid people, and stupid stuff like that can bring me down to their level.

I might not seem like it, but Im very stubborn. Someone says I cant do something, it makes me want defy them and do it anyways. I even questioned a cop or 3's authority before. Power hungry people that hide behind that power...I hate that.
My first cop experience was when I was throwin shot put in high school and practice was over and I was waiting for my ride watching the soccer game. Cop comes up to me and asks if I have a ticket. I said no, Im waiting on my ride since our practice is over. Well...you need a ticket to stay on the property. I told him there are about 40 of us here...you gonna kick us outside the fence and make us sit on the side of the highway? No, but you need a ticket. That really confused me...what was he gonna do?! I told him gimme 5 minutes. Went to talk to the athletic director selling the tickets. He ended up giving me enough tickets to cover all of us. I handed them all to the cop and said are you happy now?!
I think I was like 15 or so when that happened. That cop never came down to the fieldhouse and harrassed us after that.
Been downhill ever since...at least the stubborn problem!
Good morning everyone. How are you?
Woke up to a VERY unpleasant sight. I'll spare the gory details but it involved a 2 1/2 year old, a nasty stomach bug, a bath, a load of laundry and a lot of cleaning I can think of MANY better things to wake up to at 6AM.

Sorry to see that Claire isn't feeling well, hope she gets better soon.
Your pictures remind me of the 3 months I spent out in Washington 12 years ago, I sure do miss it out there. Such nice scenery everywhere you look, and I'm NOT talking about you being shirtless either
Bret, I dont know where those are at, and when they were taken.. But you have pictures of a place that I would like to retire at one day..
It's like that everywhere up here. Green hills and mountains. Some have civilization and some are wilderness.
IMO it is the most scenic place on the planet, especially in the summertime.
Where I live, I drive south to work and on a clear day I can look left, see the Cascade mountains, look right see the Olympic mountains, look straight ahead, see Mt. Rainier, turn around and look behind me, and see Mt, Baker, where Brent took those pictures.
WOOHOOOO!!! No job offer yet, but I chatted with a Director of IT in Greeley, CO the other day, and he asked me to look up flights to come do an in-person, meet the team, etc. and then send him the info. I did that 30min ago and he replied "Book the flight. See you Friday."
Man oh man... this could be a GREAT job... actually, a 'home' for my career. Greeley is small, but these guys think big and are in to some VERY cool stuff!! I don't fly until next Thursday though!!
Side-bonus - if I get it, I'll be working/living in the same town as Guzzle!! OH CRAP!! I better clean my truck!!! hahahaha
Good deal Brendan, you'll be close to Denver, yet far enough away from the crowds. Greeley is a cool town...the pig farms can be a bummer when the air is stagnant, but other than that its cool.
When I move back, we'll have to hang out finally eh?
Oh comon guys! I entered Round 7 and almost beat that hotrod...my truck is nothing special....in those contests, people tend to vote for the person more than the truck.
Cool!
Did you get any sweet and sour action out of it?
I got lots of gratitude and thanks but not "that" kind of thanks. LOL

My thinking too, on both parts! Shooting tips & teaching me to hunt would be MASSIVELY appreciated too, but not necessary.
