I figured someone would get hung up playing that game for a while. How far did ya get?

For any of you mechanical/builder/creative/constructive/engineerish types, or really anyone who wants to challenge your creative thinking skills, here's a pretty cool game. Fantastic Contraption: A fun online physics puzzle game
The point of the game is to get the pink object into the pink square. You are given tools to use (wheels that turn, rods to connect the stuff), but are only allowed to draw stuff in a specific space. As you advance, the levels get harder by making more obstructions between starting point and the goal. Follow along on the tutorial they provide and it starts to make sense.
Some of my friends have come up with very unique ways of solving some of the levels. I find it interesting to see how other people approach the different levels, and how others look at it completely different from how you did.
Dan I couldn't agree more, I am 43, wife 44 and we each have two daughters. Her youngest has a 3yo and my oldest has a 5mo. The best part was a 4 generation picture at the family reunion last year.
See, another downside of waiting until you're pushing 40. It really cuts down on the chances of having grandparents, especially if your parents also waited very long. I remember a great-grandmother very clearly. Even the types of fruit trees she had in her backyard in Sacramento, California. Her son, my grandpa was a Sacramento fireman and my hero. he died too damn young (55) but I have very fond memories of his love for me. If my mom had waited until she was just 27 to have me I never would have known either one of my grandfathers.
Brandon, that's what I mean about seeing others designs and how someone might think about it totally different than you would. I've seen others that made some paddle type wheels to move them across the opening and fling them into the pit on that one.
Mark, the speedo is analog. Still have the stock Ford Super Duty dash. I didn't have to do anything to make it work. I believe the speedo gets it's signal from the VSS sensor in the rear diff, and that's wiring that I didn't change or mess with at all, so the speedo worked just as it always did.
