Heya fellas.

Morris Im not sure what Im all doing on my days off. Im most likely finishing tearing out the ifs and irs on that jag, Im heading to nipawin to help my dad do a few repairs before harvest, going to get those 50's ford trucks ready to bring up to the city.

Other then that gonna try to hang with my daughter as much as I can, and take the KTM out as much as I can!

As for classes I took this term off (due to my daughter being born) so my next classes start in January.

As for the rain, I have heard its supposed to lay off for tomorrow, as well as rain tomorrow, so who knows! Where ya going riding?

It would be nice if the rain holds off, I go riding with a friend and who knows where we`ll end up tho it`s usually not too far away.

Oh you guys dont go for very long rides? I usually dont either. I mainly ride just to work and back, but I do that every day. I usually take "scenic" routes and put around 100 kms on my bike each time I ride it, minimum.

Man I love riding. Wish I could justify more then one good road bike as well!

While I like to occasionally bash his HD it`s always been dependable and he maintains it well. He does have a rather large tool box.

HD will likely get my money again when I'm ready to buy another bike. Like the "soul" you talk about old vehicles having, thats how HD does it for me. They are ultra reliable nowadays, I'd put them beside any other brand for reliability, but the HD will win every time because of dealer support.

Had a 2" front leveling kit with 3" rear blocks installed yesterday. Was planning on putting 315/70r17's on there also which are near 35" tires but they were rubbing on the control arm at full lock, and only 1/4" away from the upper ball joint at any point. So the 285's stay for a brief period of time until my new rims come in. They have a +0 offset so it should eliminate any rubbing, and the tires will be closer to 35" than the others because its an 18" rim now Always wanted to do this to a truck but could never afford it, or found other uses for the money.

Got my ignition system figured out...

had to jump the ignition module and switch in order to get the 1978 running.

12V source directly hooked to the external ballast resistor and directly fed to the ignition coil... started right up.

Next summer I'm hacking up that electrical system and putting in a DSII system. Then we'll be cooking with propane and propane accessories!

Good saturday mornin folk's. Overcast today, temp is very comfortable. Got my part's yesterday, front park lite assy. heater control's and the trim pieces between the cab and running board's. Made a new floor plate for the steering and brake pedal. I think I'll pull the seats and start on the interior clean and sand. I also hope to prime and paint the firewall and window opening's, Dawn would like the truck 72 Ford Maverick blue, The same color my 40 was. I ordered some paint yesterday. I'm even going with the flat black stripe's on the hood. I just gotta find me one of those Big Job hood scoops, I think it look cool. Have a great day guy's and take care.

That's what my wife just said. My street rod buddy said use the low pro dual scoop's off an old Mopar. Using the EFI I'd like to get it to breath more than just running a tube to the front rad craddle. A cowl induction just wont cut it in my opinion. A body man buddy said, leave it with him and he'll give me some idea's. I like Speedway Motor's Shot Gun Scoop, but it's hard to make functional in my application, and may be a little tacky. I just think something a little different on the hood with the 2 black stripe's would give it a subtle race look
