I have experienced the same thing a couple of times and it sure brings your own mortality into full view. Never a good feeling.

Evening Folks...beauty of a day here. Bruce was 66 or so. Truth of his passing was suicide. I believe everyone is being told it was cardiac arrest or aneurysm, but apparently he has been suffering with depression for quite some time and has mentioned suicide before. Its terrible for the family to go through such a loss and such circumstances. I think of the "what ifs"...when we sat on Friday night, I noticed that he was quieter than usual but though he was tired from a day in the garden, mowing grass or whatever... Looking back it all falls into place... I don't fully understand depression... I haven't dealt with it first hand, I don't understand how one gets to a suicidal state of mind. I enjoy life, I have a good life. I'm not bragging, I know I am very fortunate, and wish and pray for the same or better for each and every person on the planet. I know ups and downs come and go...I hope we all find a way to make the most of each moment we are given, both good and bad.
Good morning all, that's another trajic death that shouldn't have happened Sherm, it happens far too often. I don't understand it either. Stay safe on your roof.
How's your garage coming along Gerry, did you get all the shingles up on your roof yet?
Not many places fix post hoists and the one I found had staff holidays last week which was no problem since I was doing other things. They did a great job so I`m happy.
