Morning fellas. We had some crazy assed winds here yesterday. Few farmer friends of mine had bins blow ever even!
I made a little progress on my 51 project, I tore the front end out of the jag yesterday, and got the IRS about half torn out as well.
Still gotta head down south here in sask to pick up a truck from a fellow fte'r that I have arranged to buy, then I can start throwing the suspension on the frame.
Man i cant wait to start on that truck! Grant watching and reading about your progress on yours is sure motivating me, as well as when ever I go over to Ryans house, i cant help but check out his 49 and that gets me moticated as well!
Atta Boy Sheldon. Feels good don't it? I put color on my firewall and front window frame last night, all I was going to do was sand the primer, but got carried away and finished my 2 day job in one, total satisfaction. This site is very inspirational
Well the wind has died down a little this morning, nothing like yesterday. Yesterday I went for a ride on the highway with my bike, and the wind just about blew me into on coming traffic a few times! Gonna try to go for a nice ride this morning yet, before I start on my next backhoe job.
Yes Grant even a little progress feels great! Im basically just wanting to bring the rest of the jag to the scrapyard so i dont have anything sitting around in the yard for the winter time.
Ya, those hard part's are tough on snowblower augers. I'm going to move all my small part's in the garage for winter, i'll just clean, sand and paint in my spare time and be ready for spring. I'll need to do that to keep the motivation alive.
Well the wind has died down a little this morning, nothing like yesterday.
I sure hope thats the case here also. It was brutal here for two days now. Yesterday some of my shingles succumbed to the force and relocated to another area... Patch day today if the wind is civil.
Happy Thursady mornin all. We're right across the road from a garden center, they screen topsoil all the time. Those west winds were terrible, blowing right towards us. When I opened the door to my van yesterday a big blast of topsoil blew in it, what a mess. It also rained a bit at noon and the clean van looks like crap now.
