We didn`t really get a lot of cold this past winter so I`m not complaining.
If there`s little or no snow like in some years we`ve had lately I can quad all winter long.
I've always been a winter guy...not much for heat. My favorite "fun" is sledding, and now that I've experienced the mountains of BC, its only gotten better. I'm contemplating buying another sled this year to have something to ride here, or buy one that I can mod strictly for the mountains. I love snowboarding also, which while Saskatchewan has a couple of ski bumps, one trip to Kimberly BC (which isn't even a big hill) sort of took the joy out of snowboarding in Saskatchewan...
I love fishing for the summer, but never have time for it anymore...
I guess we're all winter guys because we live or were born up here.......I like the short winters but the sledders dont so much..........I like summer & camping now
Happy Hump Day all, I used to be a real '' Sled Head '' I have also been known to do a wicked snow dance. Since our 2 boy's started hockey, we're lucky to get out a couple times a winter and that's usually just in the field in front of our house. The kid's and thier friend's really enjoy it when we hook up the boggan and take them for a ride. It's going to be 31 deg here today and we're talking sledding, I feel cooler already.
I have an 07 Yamaha Grizzly 4X4 with almost new tires. I have yet to get stuck in the snow and use the wench. But I think a set of tire chains would be nice. How hard are they to come by for Quads? I've only seen one with them and they where cut down from a car set. And that may be the cheaper way to go. Ya think?
