Hey does anyone know for sure if the 1978 f100 front end body will work on the 1979 supercab? I need to replace my driver side front quarter panel.
The only difference you might run into is if the 78 is a "Custom" it may have round headlights. If the lights are rectangular they are identical. If not, the rad mount is different.
Awesome and thanks. Just wanted to do a gut check before I made a purchase. Given the pics would you replace the front quarter plane or try to have it popped out? I'm not looking to make this a show truck just need it to look nice. Any thoughts from anyone?
Here’s my 78 with my 72 born free 20 foot slide in camper with tag axle
hairba11. I like your truck. Love those 79's. But I have to say I am very curious about your camper too! Lol. Any way to have a few pics of it in and out? Never seen one with a wheel/axle system to the rear. Thx.
I also read your other thread. Still would like to see more info about the tag axel.

Could you please do a few pics of the rear end and "tag axel"? Very curious about the tag axel.
That rig is COOOOOOOOOL.
Thanks everyone. So in my 78.5, the side-saddle tank is the “main” position. The valve/sender doesn’t work although the fuel gauge does change when I flip the switch to aux. the rear filler door is blocked.
The camper thread is here https://vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/7543
i got it 3 years ago and had to make a hitch for my shortbed diesel truck with liftgate.
