This is my 1979 f350 ranger xlt supercab camper special. It's got just about all the extras, tilt wheel, digital radio, cab light, bed toolbox, a/c, swing open supercab windows and lots of other stuff. I got this beauty for 1,000 bucks from the impound. All it needed was a new master cylinder and some tires. It had a fresh rebuilt 460, there was still paint on the exhaust side of the heads! It's a smooth running motor but with the stock d3ve heads it's not much of a horse. Whoever built the motor also loved silicon and layered it on every gasket which are now leaking so it needs re gasketed anyway so I bought some d0ve heads and I'm gonna get some bigger valves put in them. Next is a zf 5 speed. I've been driving it daily and have put about 5,000 miles on it. It drives and rides amazing. I've always loved these 73-79 fords. My dad had a 77 that I learned how to drive in and a 76 service truck and my grandpa has a couple too.
It has a rebuilt 400 and a C6 transmission.

Used to fall asleep in back with head on the padding. Not very comfortable.
here is my 79 f150 4x4 ranger my father bought brand new. First thing I did when it became mine is get rid of the bed liner and cap. To my suprise he had waxed it under there and the bed is in great shape! Only has 55k on it. Still the original clutch too. I did make some changes but saved all the parts since they had stickers on them and even the plug wires were the original 1979 ford motorcraft stamped right on them. Has the 351m engine its 4x4 and a 4 speed on the floor but low geared. Has the jump seats in the back which were always folded down and a 2x6 board laid across covered by a sleeping bag. Us 3 kids sat back there. Other changes I did was replace the lines brakes and removed emission stuff and put on a 4 barrel intake and Carter carb.
