lets see the supercabs!!!
Have a lot of plans for this truck over the next year or so. Will be frequenting the forum here to share progress, and hopefully gain help where needed.
I plan to use it for pulling our camper and traveling the country on vacation every summer with my wife and little boy.

Been tinkering with the interior, tightening up some rattily bits here and there, and replacing window/door seals to fix air leaks. My boy loves the jump seats.
Hadn't been driven much in a couple years, so the 460 needed some attention to get running smooth again, but I've got that straightened out now.
Super clean truck, and the underneath clearly represents its life down south, as it looks darn near like I assume it did new in '79 (nothing even close to what I'm used to seeing here in IL from our winters, salt & chemicals).
still learning the truck.... but have a list of projects. Body is in good shape. waiting on the new seat skins to come for the front and back. engine is the 400. Carb was upgraded to a 4 barrel.
becoming familiar with LMC, summit and the others plus my local Napa. Considering re-wiring and adding AC next year. It gets hot and humid here in summer
this has become my daily driver
Very nice truck! Looks very clean and well kept.
I was wondering what those mounting brackets are on the side of your truck.
Is that for the camper?? I see 5 of them.

What is it with Washington State and all the older Ford trucks and parts?? lol Feel like everything I look at with these trucks traces back to there.

So far so good. Replaced the starter, new exhaust, seatbelts for the back seat (for the kids) a few electrical wiring issues but overall in good shape. Was not able to get the history from the P.O. so piecing things together as I work through it.
I have yet to see another supercab near me.
Just thought i'd share some pics of my supercabs, The blue and white one is originally from Idaho, then North Dakota, now Maryland. I'm the 3rd owner, 43k miles, seat cover was put on when new, so that should be a treat when I pull it. 460 auto, 77 f250, excellent driver. The other two tone 77 f150 is a body donor from Arizona for the Green 79 F350 4x4 in the pics, and the grey 77 f150 is a future body donor for a 4x4 build, it's from California. The only one i've gotten locally was the green f350, but it's been all over the country, and is pretty solid overall. I have another cab in storage for a future build, I have about 30ish 73-79 ford trucks in all, just wanted to show off the supers. Some nice looking trucks on here, they don't get nearly the attention the crews do, but are just as nice and much easier to find, and a little cheaper.
My current Dentside stable includes:
78 F250 Red crew 4x4, 460 C6 short box. just had a water pump come apart

76 F250 White crew 4x4, 351M NP435 short box. Interior stripped, cab roof rough.
76 F600 Patina crew 4x4. In line for restoration.
78 F250 Purple Ext cab 4x4, 460 NP435 flat bed dually. Daily driver.
78 F250 Brown/white Ext cab 4x4, 460 C6 Long bed camper special. Runs great.
79 F150 Red/white Ext cab 4x4, 351M, C6 long bed. Blown rear end.
78 Bronco Grey, 1/2 cab 4x4 351M, NP435, engine was seized when acquired, in-line for transplant.
78 Bronco Yellow/white 4x4 351M, NP435, Wife’s daily driver.
76 F100 Black reg cab 4x4 390, NP435 beat around farm truck.
I’ll dig up some pics and get posted.
