using a 76 supercab 2x with the guts from my 77 standard cab 4x
took a week start to finish
Nice! I'm looking into doing this to mine. Where did you source the steering box from?
I have a 76 F-250 Ranger SC 460 2wd and I recently dragged home a 78 F-250 4x4 long bed single cab 351M (Babe The Big Blue Ox brings home The Great White Buffalo). The 76 has been working pretty hard lately and she's in need of some rest and refreshment. Hope the 78 will do for a daily driver for a little while, just wish it was an SC, kinda got used to the extra room.

Thank you. The blue was going to be a color scheme down the road, as I was going to frame off restore it. But I love it like it is for now, so I decided for the moment anyway to not restore it. So yes, the blue wire looms are now very obnoxious. I have an 86 Bronco I'm on the tail end of restoring that's on another page (Bronco section of FTE). I used the paint I was going to use on this truck on that Bronco.
I want to do a thread. I’ve been lurking around this site for years and finally joined last night. So much knowledge here I’m hoping it will make up for my lack of skill. Job keeps me away from home and pretty busy but I’m hoping to get the 77 running again soon and start stripping the 78 down.
