Crew Cabs Rule! I love the old Crews! your right Rust is a bitch on the roof rails, I HAVE to do mine this year or the roof will probably blow off. I am going to buy a gallon of thet PR15 and do the whole roof the inside of the doors and once I replace the cab corners, those spots too! I hate that F"N RUST! Have a look at my pic's! the 545 stroker is still rippin throu the gas! HAHAHAHAHHAHA @ 119.2 per liter!

whats the trick to getting the large dents out of the roof? the roofs seem to be weak, snow dents it down.

79 crew

My current daily driver is a 2wd crew longbed. I eventually want to make it a dually 4wd with a zf and eventually a diesel. Its nice to know that there is a forum and specific threads on these awesome trucks. The guy with the white shortbed lives right by me too here in CO.

All depends what each truck looks like and whats been done to each one. Some can be an even trade and some not. Got any pics to help us out.

I went and took a look at it today, it has a new 460 (or at least non rusty non painted block with a machine shop coin on the head (and rhwy were d3ve-a2a's) but it is waaaaay out of tune. new ebrock intake and carb too. hedders to boot. other than that the rest of the truck was kinda a pos, good tires though...

and it turned out to be a supercab and not a crew sorry should have mentioned that at the beggining. haha

Looking For Crew Cab

I'm looking for a 73-79 2wd Crew Cab with a short bed. I'm not ready to take on a project and want a nice clean truck. I will consider something with a nice body that may need to be painted as I plan to paint whatever I buy red. If anyone has any leads please let me know. I'm willing to buy anywhere in the U.S.

I've found a 1975 I'm looking at. Has anyone installed rear 3-point seat belts in a crew cab?

You'd do it the same as adding them in a standard cab.

I added the shoulder harness by removing them from a std. cab, for the rear passenger and removing a fwd. set from a 77 crew for my 74 crew, now I have matching factory Ford shoulder harnesses front and rear

Here is a link to a 77 crew cab for sale in Utah. It's only $800 bucks, so it may be of use to one of you. I am not selling it, I just wanted to pass on the info incase it might be of help to someone.
