After hearing others and experiencing it myself I don't think they are quite ready for 07's yet. I mean how can they sell this to us and not be sure if it will work or not on some trucks. I am sure Edge will come up with an update for me, but it is annoying to not be able to use it how I want right now.
I installed mine on sat. and keep getting DTC Code PO605 and one time I got
PO600. Any hints?
I am going to call Edge tomorrow and see whats up.
The guages work nice.

For any octane booster that added full points of octain you would be spending much more than the 20 cents per gallon. Most of your octain boosters raise octain in 10ths of a point, not in full points. Some of the better ones work in full points, but also cost 8 to 15 bucks a bottle. Filling your truck with super (Assume 25 gallons) at a premium price change of $0.20 per gallon (Around here its + $.20) would cost you $5.00 more. Thats one beer at the bar. Its less than a can of Copenhagen. Its about the same as a large coffee with a begal. Its nothing! Really, in the grand scheme of things.....for the few pennies extra...you know what your getting at the pump. Just an opinion...
Yes, it's the tow level. You gain more torque which equals more power. You can adjust your shift points if you want in this mode. I just left everything the same except tire size and I noticed a huge difference from stock mode. Originally, it never crossed my mind to use the tow mode over performance mode. But, it's tough to tell the difference. You might notice it if you run the 0-60 or 1/4 mile times. I leave my truck in tow mode for every day use. I honestly think it sounds better in this mode as well.
I guarantee you will notice a difference. That's all I was looking for was to gain a little more power and wake up the truck without having to change to higher octane fuel.
Cool! I have the flowmaster system as well. I would like to get CAI sometime but I've spent my limit for a while. I bought my 04 FX4 about 6 months ago and put on 20's, BFG AT's, Edge, Exhaust, Kenwood DVD with 2 10" subs. So I'm spent for a while. Exhaust, CAI, and chip all compliment each other well. Next I'll probably put in a front leveling kit.
The Tow spec says that it not only provides for better transmission shifting, but it modifies the ignition timing and fuel injection strategies to improve performance.
The race version of the 104+ is not bad, I used it in my old jet-boat that had a Harman marine 455 olds engine. It would not shut off without "dieseling" if I ran straight Sunoco 94, but with the 104+ race octain it would shut off with the flip of the switch. A lot of the cheaper syuff would not really help get the octain up enough to make a change.......hence.... I know most of it is junk.
What happens if I run 87 with 104+ and it's insufficient octane, will it just run crappy, or can I damage my engine (I'll sign your liability waiver if you like...).
