Sensational Saturday Washington, Tim Ken, Ken, Steve and all the crew. It is a beautiful day but a little hot at 90°, full hot sun and a steamy breeze. But as I have said elsewhere on here today, it beats white frozen and slick everyday of the year!
Most of the fruit trees are done here except the Frost Pears. Waiting on a friend to tell me if they are going to be a good crop this year and get a few.
Tim, that ramp looks mighty sturdy and the apples look tasty. What are you going to do with the apples?
Howdy Tim...it was on Cape Cod...plenty of water all around to feed the storm. It was the remnants of the hurricane that hit LA last week...stuck off the MA Coast.
Merry Monday afternoon Washington, Tim, Ken, Steve, Ken and all the crew. It was a beautiful and unfortunately dry weekend in my woods. Last night and into this morning we were to have 1/2-3/4" of rain and I guess the Soothsayers did not go with their crystal ball that said ZERO! Because we got Zip again and the rain we were to have today is nowhere on RADAR and in any predictions.
I think I will take advantage of the day and clean the Lawn mower up and store it for winter. I haven't mowed for 2 months and what little grass is out there is only about 2-3 inches tall! I doubt any rain we get now will make the grass turn green and grow!
